I think this format would be very popular in North America. It would bring in those who don't normally race and also appeal to XCers as well as DHers and everyone in between. Looks real good! They won't offer a bash guard or chain retention system???? Who exactly did they listen to again??? Not your average trail rider from the PNW or any where else that you need it for that matter. Silly long bars, unless you're a wookie of course. I dig the stem because I have taken issue with steer tube stem clamps and their stupid sharp corners. Tires look interesting and I've always heard good things about Sycros tires just never had a chance to try them. Interesting idea but I'll stick with my Sramano set ups. Sram XO shifting, Shimano XT brakes, cranks, and cassettes. Two great tastes that taste good together. An amazing bike for sure, should be a trail slayer! I wonder if they will try 650b next?? I agree, skidding is bad form but it can happen even to the best rider if you get a little too much heat. Black Keys makes a great video even better! I got a pair of the 2.3 race version that I run on my all mountain rig. They are great in the wet and dry, I live in Seattle so you know I spend a ton of time in the wet. I love these tires and will probably buy another pair when they are done.
